The Global CEO Summit 2025 was held in Azerbaijan

Organized by Azerbaijan HR Institute and CEO Club Azerbaijan, with the Platinum sponsorship of PASHA Holding, co-sponsored by the Prime Cotton, Anzera, Golingua, Amrop Azerbaijan, Handex ESET companies, the Global CEO Summit 2025 has been successfully held on February 25, 2025 in Baku Marriott Boulevard hotel for the first time by bringing together the most influential CEOs, business leaders, entrepreneurs and C-level professionals.

The UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability network with over 15,000 companies and over 5,000 members from over 160 countries, was the main partner of the Summit.

Emil Huseynov, the founder and director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute, said that the Global CEO Summit 2025 was organized with the motto “Empowering Visionary Leadership” for the development of business environment and corporate governance in our country based on the first priority of “national priorities” of the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev dated February 2, 2021 Azerbaijan 2030: social economic development planned to be realized in the next years – “Stable growing competitive economy”. 

An important legacy was created at the Summit held on February 25, 2025. On the initiative of the Chair of the Organizing Committee Emil Huseynov and with the joint agreement of the leading local and global CEOs, the date “February 25” was established as International CEO Day. The main aim of this newly established day is to celebrate the invaluable role of CEOs, who are leading figures in the business world to celebrate their innovative management skills and contributions to economic development. This will be the time for everyone to shine the spotlight on the valuable and irreplaceable role that CEO play in helping the organization succeed.

During the event, the distinguised moderators and speakers touched upon the latest innovations and future expectations in the field of management on a single platform. The event participants obtained new ideas and experiences related to topics such as global trends in management, new era of CEO leadership, AI & human centered leadership as well as followed by the exclusive masterclass on “Unlocking the Value of CEO Career Transitions” by the World’s #1 Executive Coach Navid Nazemian. The historical event was ended with the CEO Excellence Awarding Ceremony.

We would like to highlight that the Baku International CEO Summit 2022, Global HR Summit 2023, World HR Summit 2024 and COP29 Human Capital Forum events were successfully organized by Azerbaijan HR Institute.
