With its first edition in Dubai at the Festival Arena on the 22nd of February 2022, SUPERVERSE covered the core topics around creator monetization in the digital world, discussing the metaverse, NFTs, web3, SocialFi and the upcoming developments within the creator economy.
Attendees were welcomed by an interactive AI robot at the entrance and had various innovative activities available, such as the opportunity to try on digital fashion, experience a laser dome, try a play-to-earn game, see holograms, and get immersed by new metaverse spaces. The event concept brought together tech founders with their potential users and communities whom they are building for – the influencers, creators and music artists. Live music acts at SUPERVERSE took place by the famous duo of dancers and musicians, Ayleo Bowles and Mateo Bowles, better known as Ayo & Teo, TikToker & Music Artist Keemokazi, superstar DJ Plastik Funk, DJ Alex Curson, and TikToker & DJ Jovynn. World-renowned music artist BIA showcased an exclusive music performance as the lead act, including a yet unreleased song about Dubai.
