Paycom Employees Bring Holiday Joy to Oklahoma Foster Care Children with the Anna’s House Foundation

Did you know there are over 7,000 children in foster care in Oklahoma alone?

Paycom, a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, has donated $100,000 to support foster children and families as part of the company’s employee giving program and dollar-for-dollar match just in time for the holiday season. Employees also held a toy drive to bring extra cheer to families, donating over 400 toys to Oklahoma-based nonprofit The Anna’s House Foundation.

The Anna’s House Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit organization based in Edmond, Oklahoma, provides stable and loving homes for Oklahoma’s children in state care. The organization builds a support network for foster families, offering housing, training, mental health services and other essential resources. Since 2009, Paycom has donated to the nonprofit, including corporate and employee contributions and hundreds of toys each year. Last year, Paycom donated $100,000 to foster care organizations and gifted over 500 toys to The Anna’s House Foundation through a company toy drive.

Jennifer Mathew, director of talent acquisition and talent attraction at Paycom, said, “We have a history of supporting organizations that help children thrive. It’s a privilege for our employees to provide hope and joy to local foster kids through our toy drives and donations. It’s a small way we can show them they’re seen, heard and loved.”

Katherine Craig, executive director for The Anna’s House Foundation, shared how Paycom and its employees’ generosity during the holidays creates a ripple effect of hope. She also stated gifts like Paycom’s symbolize a new childhood memory and serve as a reminder that they are valued and cared for, especially during times of uncertainty.

In addition to The Anna’s House Foundation, Paycom employees also donated to the National Foster Parent Association (NFPA).

NFPA is an organization that provides foster parents and child welfare professionals with opportunities for advocacy and education. Since its founding in 1972, NFPA has played a vital role in the foster care community. The organization has welcomed more than 400,00 children in out-of-home placement in the US.

Arnold Eby, executive director at the National Foster Parent Association, said, “The National Foster Parent Association is grateful for the ongoing support from Paycom employees in helping address the critical needs of children in the care of foster, adoptive and kinship parents. Thank you for being champions of family-based care for children in need through your community outreach and at the national level.”
