By Agha Mehdiyev’s upcoming ecological peace journey will cover several areas in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Previously, he undertook a solo winter trip by bicycle from Estonia to Spain. Through such projects, Agha aims to draw attention to several issues:
1. Message of Peace – He believes that the highest value that unites us as humans is our humanity and creation. We should be like bees towards others, gathering nectar from the most beautiful flowers. Let’s focus on the beauty in people and help them with their mistakes.
2. Killing of Children – Currently, children suffer greatly from wars and conflicts. Regardless of who is responsible, I oppose such oppression and crimes with all my soul.
3. Ecological Problems – The importance of ecology is not only necessary for growing vegetables. Nature is a noble process that shapes identities and guarantees the future of humanity.
Agha is currently near the city of Turku. He usually stays in forests and, when lucky, with Finnish families. According to him, the Finns are very kind to him. Mr. Kurin and his family’s hospitality, providing him with shelter and food, has strengthened Agha’s belief in his goals of peace and humanity. He often swims in lakes and rivers to shower and connect more closely with nature. On the day he started his journey from Helsinki, he participated in the “Building Peace” event at the Helsinki Think Tank. He spoke about his journey and goals, receiving great interest and applause from the attendees. Overall, Agha has been working on projects focused on peace, love, tolerance, and volunteerism for many years.
In January 2015, at the age of 22, he drew significant attention by clearing snow and ice from in front of a church with a friend, aiming to facilitate access for devout Christians. Agha has traveled to over 40 countries and nearly 300 cities. He is an international trainer in personal development, effective communication, and sales. In 2023, he volunteered during the earthquake in Turkey. Now, through his Scandinavian journey, he is encouraging people to think about important issues once again.
