Support Mental Health Awareness with Mohamed Selim Coaching & Consulting (MSC²)

New York, United States, 9th October 2022, ZEXPRWIREAs a part of Mental Illness Awareness Week 2022 in the United States, Mohamed Selim is proud to support the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) from 2 October to 8 October, Mental Health Awareness Week, through the nationwide campaign to raise awareness around the impact of human connection to mental health.

Mohamed Selim, the founder of MSC², has served Americans for over two decades. He is a Certified Clinical Interventionist, NYS OASAS Advanced Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, Master Reiki Teacher, Certified Recovery Coach, Master Certified Life Coach, and Certified Grief Educator.

This October, Mohamed Selim decided to pay back to the community more aggressively through his services. In addition to equipping his clients with effective yet applicable coping mechanisms, he has partnered with AMHCA to support more and more people requiring mental healthcare. At MSC², he enables his patients not just to survive but thrive in their daily lives. His customized approach provides deeply individualized holistic care, addressing each client’s mental health in conjunction with their spiritual, physical, and relationships for more comprehensive results.

“At MSC², making the world a more sympathetic and caring place is at the heart of what we do. With this campaign, we are playing our part to educate Americans about mental health issues and to reach out for help when needed without any stigma. Each time someone reaches out to me directly or through MSC², a portion of the proceeds, up to $25,000 total, will be donated by MSC² to the AMHCA.”  ~ Mohamed Selim

The overall objective of Mental Illness Awareness Week is to raise awareness of mental health issues and mobilize efforts to support mental health. The week provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to channel and combine their efforts and discuss what more must be done to make mental health care a reality for Americans.

“Mental health is still a taboo topic in many communities. People who are suffering from any mental illness are not necessarily crazy, which is a general misconception. At least one in four people is in dire need of mental health checkups in the United States alone. Mental Illness Awareness Week is an annual event, which provides an opportunity to focus on achieving good mental health.” ~ Mohamed Selim
