Leon Budrow is no stranger to the stage. The crowds, the cheers, the spotlight, one could say it is just another night on the job. With over thirty professional musical performances and an uncountable number of Hunk-O-Mania performances under his belt, one may think the rush of being under the spotlight would fade by now.
But not for Leon Budrow.
“Every show I do brings me a great feeling of fulfillment.” Leon Budrow explains. “Whether the crowd is filled with new faces, old friends or a fun combination of both, I enjoy every performance as if it’s my first performance, and take in every moment as if it could be my last.”
Since Leon Budrow’s very first live musical performance dating back to February 23rd 2018 opening for pop star Aaron Carter in Easton, Pennsylvania, Leon Budrow has made quite a name for himself. Budrow has toured the country and performed in some of America’s greatest venues, including the world famous Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood, California.
“The Whisky a Go Go was one of my favorite venues to perform in” Budrow adds. “The history and energy of that venue is amazing, I am really blessed to have been able to perform there.”
Leon Budrow has headlined venues and city’s himself, as well as opened for and toured with many famous artists, including platinum record artists such as O-Town, Aaron Carter, and Ryan Cabrera, in which Budrow has performed shows with each artist individually, as well as joining the three for select Pop2K shows, hosted by Brad Fischetti of LFO in December of 2019.
“The Pop2k shows are fantastic, I am so happy to have been able to experience those!” Leon Budrow states.
Budrow’s resume is quite impressive, having also opened for other great artists such as rappers Chris Webby, Ghost Face Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan, Ginuwine, Ekoh, Drake Bell, Kira Kosarin, Chris Bandi, Ryan Dunson of Rookie of The Year, and many more. Budrow also routinely performs as a Magic Mike dancer for the Hunk-O-Mania Male Revue, and has choreographed a Magic Mike style dance routine with his group on stage at The Fillmore and The Punchline in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“The Fillmore Hunk-O-Mania act is one of my absolute favorite memories, it had always been a goal of mine to perform at the Fillmore and to be on that stage was one of the greatest moments of my life.” Budrow explains.
With so many shows to his name, Leon Budrow has no intention of slowing down. Though the Covid 19 pandemic may have put a damper on live performances for a moment, Budrow is excited to move forward with many more shows to come.
“I am so happy to be performing again, I love the stage and love seeing all of my fans. I can’t wait to release new music and hit the stage with a whole new energy.”
Having just performed an epic End of Summer show, again supporting platinum recording artists O-Town and LFO at Artie’s Bar and Grill Frenchtown, New Jersey. Following the end of summer show, Budrow aims to get back on the road.q
“I can’t wait to tour again. I really can’t wait.”
